Why is Christianity Growing?
There are a variety of reasons. It has been growing for over 2000 years. Starting in Jerusalem with 12 followers of Christ Jesus it has grown to over 2 billion followers today.
Here are 4 of many reasons:
Hope: Christianity brings hope to every person in the world. Without hope people die. The best selling book in the world, the Bible says, in the book of Romans chapter 15 and verse 13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”.
Love: Christian love is the wellspring of the fullness of human life. It is the glue that holds marriages and families together. It the motivation that brings a giving attitude to help others in need, to go the second mile and to sacrifice when called upon. The Bible says in the book of 1 John 4:7, “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God”.
Forgiveness: There isn’t a person in the world that does not need forgiveness for something or other. The biggest reason for the need of forgiveness is the sin against God. To be forgiven is a great lifting of heaviness, a removal of guilt and sometimes a release from social pressures. Here is what God says in the Bible about the sin in the book of first John chapter 1 and verse 9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”.
Eternal Life: There is no bigger question in the world than, “what happens after death”. Every person who ever lived has pondered that question. All religions in the world have their opinion to this question. Christianity’s answer to this question has been the same for 4 thousand years based on historical documents, archaeological findings, inspirational writings and millions of personal testimonials. These all point to and confirm the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Why use the words “Royal Connection”?
Years ago I wanted to start a business network club in Edmonton Alberta. As I was in business and of course wanted to have a really successful profitable business, I thought by having successful business people share their stories and give good advice to all the rest of us, it would be helpful.
Browsing through the Bible looking for God’s advise for business people on how to be successful I ran across a verse that was powerful and appropriate.
The book of Peter chapter 2 verse 9 says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”.
As we are connected to God through spiritual relationship, I decided to use the words “Royal Connection” as our slogan. I believe be following God’s advise on how to live, how to treat others, how to handle our money and how to work and live, we can have a good abundant life.
I would be happy to discuss God’s principles for a profitable business for anyone who would like to chat.

Christians the world over feel a bond of fellowship.
I have traveled to many countries and have often met other Christians in my travels.
It seems almost immediately I feel a bond of fellowship, like a family member when I meet another believer in Christ whom I have never even met before.
It is fairly easy to understand actually. Christians the world over have the same core beliefs, the same desires, the same goals, and the same hope. So when they meet even for the first time they have common interests.
It becomes a pleasant experience to meet another Christian in any other country. Well why not, we are on the same road together. When this life is over we will meet in heaven in the presence of God.
God’s word, the Bible explains this bond feeling even better than I can explain it.
Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Out do yourselves in honoring one another.
1 Thessalonians 4:9 declares, “Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another”.
Jesus said as written in the book of John 13:34,35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another”.

Yes, God loves and cares for people in business.
Business people use their God given talents to create jobs, provide health benefits to employees, give donations to charitable organizations, create wealth and equity.
Business owners are often under a great deal of pressure. They face at times low profit margins, higher supply costs, heavy competition, difficulty in finding qualified staff and the pressure of satisfying all their customers.
It is great to know that God loves, cares about people in business and wants to bless in their work, their families and their personal lives.
1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”.
Matthew 25:21 Jesus told a parable of people who where given an investment and asked to increase the asset. He commented about the successful one, “Well done, good and faithful servant!. You have been faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things”.
Genesis 13:2 God asked Abraham to move from place to place and blessed him with great wealth, “Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold”.
Job 42:10 God gave Job great assets. “After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before”.
Proverbs 16:3 Solomon, blessed with wisdom and wealth made this comment. “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed”.
Deuteronomy 24:14 God tells us to treat our employees fairly. “Do not take advantage of a hired man who is poor and needy, whether he is a brother Isrealite or an alien. Pay him is wages”.
Leviticus 19:36 God commands us to be honest. “Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity”. I am the Lord your God.
Philippians 4:19 God’s Blessings. “And my God will meet your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”.
Psalm 1:-3 Written by David a real man of God. “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whos delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.
